1. 1 The Non-Profit Civil Society Organization “Friends of Hellenic National Parks” (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is fully committed to protecting the personal data of visitors to its website (www.filoiparkon.org) and its customers. We will not disclose customer information to third parties unless it is absolutely necessary to provide you with a service, such as the shipment and delivery of a product, to carry out the necessary security checks under the terms of this Policy, as well as with your consent or where we are required to do so by law, such as following a prosecutor’s order, a court ruling, etc. We will process the personal data provided to us by users of our website www.filoiparkon.org (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) in accordance with all relevant laws of the European Union (EU) and Greece.

- Personal data we collect and process
The personal data we collect and process is strictly necessary for the operation of and execution of transactions on our website, specifically:
a) the predefined data in the fields of the “Hellenic Tree Register Data Submission Form”: full name, email.
b) the predefined data in the fields of the order form in our online store: first name, last name, billing address, phone number, email address, shipping address, and payment details. Of these data, any optional fields are provided by you at your own discretion.
c) communication data, such as IP addresses, which are technically necessary for your navigation on our website and/or for making purchases, and which are retained for as long as required by law (Laws 2742/1997 and 3471/2006, as currently in force, and the relevant provisions thereof).

3.1. By submitting a product purchase order through our website, you declare that:
a) you accept and agree to this Policy and provide us with your explicit consent for the collection and processing of your personal data as described in Section 2 above,
b) you consent to receiving at your email address the notifications necessary for each stage of processing your order,
c) you consent to our use of your postal savings account or bank account details for any refunds to you, such as in the event of withdrawal (cancellation of your order). With regard to refunds made to your credit cards or to accounts you hold with online payment providers such as VivaWallet, the parties solely responsible for processing this data are the partner banks (issuing and acquiring) or the third-party online payment provider, such as VivaWallet.
Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of data, information, etc. that we receive via email. Consequently, you should avoid sending us information and payment details via email. However, if you choose to provide us with your details, for example via a phone order, you are giving us your explicit consent to use them solely for the payment and processing of your order, and we do not store this information at all.
3.2. You may access or update the personal data you have submitted to us, or withdraw your consent at any time for the collection and processing of some or all of it, by notifying us via email: contact@filoiparkon.org. In this case, we may request user identification details as provided on our website before providing you with any information, to verify your identity and ensure your security.
3.3. We do not store credit card data or details; these are managed solely and exclusively by the payment service provider through whose website payments are processed and executed. The same applies to payment data used by online payment providers such as VivaWallet.
3.4. We are not responsible for the actions taken regarding your personal data by third parties on the websites you have linked to or accessed through our Website. These websites have their own privacy policies, so we recommend that you read those policies before entering any personal data on those websites.
- Caring for the security of your data
4.1. We use automated systems to conduct necessary checks to combat fraud, and for this reason, we may, as part of random checks using technical means, process and use the personal information you have provided to us that is necessary to investigate illegal or improper use of our Website.
4.2. We reserve the right to disclose your information if requested to do so by a law enforcement, judicial, regulatory, or governmental authority in connection with investigations regarding activities during your visit to our website, in the event of a lawful investigation, official order, or formal preliminary inquiry. We may disclose your personal data to law enforcement and supervisory authorities for the necessary protection against risks to national and public security. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of the financial institutions with which we collaborate, particularly regarding their terms of use in connection with the execution of various transactions.
